World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The item upgrade is a type of enchantment which increases the stats in specific weapons or armor. This includes tertiary statistics like Leech and Speed.

Leveling

This method is beneficial for those who want to purchase equipment with a certain level of stats prior to acquiring a new item. Transfer is simple to use and allows the player to save up on upgrade materials.
Upgrade materials are gathered as the player clears their cache of content. They are used to improve or replace an item. Every item requires a specific kind of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction stones while armor items require Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. These materials are renamed when the item is upgraded, for example Stone Fragments become Stones and Harmony Shards become Life Shards.
It is important to upgrade items to improve a character's performance. However, it is also important to think about how much it will cost. The cost of upgrading an item can be a lot of gold, which could have been better spent on new equipment. This is why it's a good idea to upgrade the most important items in a given situation.
This means upgrading the weapon, then the legs, chest, and the helm. If the player can afford it, upgrading trinkets should also be done at this point to increase their potential for procs. This will ensure that you have a solid collection of items when you reach the level 9 upgrade goal.
Rerolling is similar to the level up system. Reroll tokens are a way to remove a Level Up option from your item and then exchange it for another. Reroll tokens like Level Up do not reset the level of an item. This means that if you roll an upgraded item it won't be at the same level and will not have the extra bonus.
In addition to rerolling, players can make use of a specific mechanism called Eliminate that allows them to eliminate any one Level Up option from their equipment or weapons. This is a great option if you get a bad gacha result or want to reroll a five-star unit. You'll need to create your own account or sign up via social media.
In every town, you can also visit an Occultist to alter the attributes or stats of a weapon armor. This is useful if you are looking to improve your epic five-star unit, or if your four-star elite character is giving you trouble.
Rerolling tokens can be acquired by completing certain quests. These can be bought from the Occultist at 300 gold or in holozons that are dropped in certain dungeons. You can then roll any weapon, armor, or ring by moving the icon with the lock on it to the desired slot on the page of your unit's.
Sets
A set is a group of items that are similar in some way. Sets are used every day like dozen eggs or a set of friends. They are useful because they help you organize things, and also operations like union, intersection and distinction help you manage them efficiently. Sets can be used in various ways, including organizing music on a play list or dividing students based on their grades.
In Nioh the game, players use sets to offer special effects to players when they wear specific pieces of an Armor Set. These bonuses are referred to as Set Bonuses and are superior to Effects. While it is not explained in the universe why armor sets must be worn together to produce these extra effects, they provide some variety when playing the game. The armor sets that come with Set Bonuses are available in various locations throughout Hyrule as well as the Dark Moon and Twilight Temple.
Set Bonuses are associated with each piece of equipment that is part of a Set. The tooltip at the bottom of the item will inform you what Set Bonuses are available. Set Bonuses are displayed in a box with the red border.
Some of these Set Bonuses are only available to a specific piece equipment. For instance, if you equip the full Phantom Armor set you will receive +8 defense (compared to the usual +3 defense included in the majority of gear). Other sets can only be obtained through specific quests or buying them through the Auction House.
It is possible to get Set Bonuses for several pieces of equipment at the same time. For example, if you own the entire Kestra's Descent set and the appropriate parts of the Twinblade of Shadow you will get the + version of the set's bonus if you soul match it.
Unlike Effects that change each when you upgrade them, Set Bonuses stay the same even as the pieces of equipment they are attached to level up. If an item's exemplar is to be too low, then the set bonus will not work.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are unique effects that appear on an item set and grant players a boost in battle. They provide a certain amount of a specific type of stat, like weapon damage, defenses, or even resistances. They don't stack however, and only one of them will be active at any time. The amount of a certain stat is determined by the number of pieces of the set are worn that is, you could have three chests, one armour, and four weapons, for instance, but only the one with the highest bonus will be of benefit to you.
They typically boost the primary stat, however, they can increase secondary stats too. Defence bonuses increase three positional defence values and two types of defense. For example a five-piece Hundings Rage set will give you 400 defenses in your gear. This is a significant boost in your gear for melee.
This is a great feature, and is among the most popular in the game. Currently, only a few gear sets have set bonuses, and they're only available in the Test Realm, but expect the number to increase when the update is live. Set bonuses cannot be stacked within a set, but they can stack across sets. This is great for players who want to combine sets in the most efficient way. It requires some planning. Set bonuses only affect the shell (not the armoring or mods) of an item of equipment, so you should be aware when putting them.
The most important thing to keep in mind is that a set bonus's strength is not affected when you have an exemplar that is more than three levels below the minimum levels that are allowed for an Enhancement of that kind. Purple (Very Rare) Sets PvP sets, sets for PvP and Archetype Origin sets are exempt from this restriction, and their set bonuses are in effect regardless of the exemplar level of an item.
